An industrial visit to The Indian Express, Ambattur, was organised on 8 October 2026, with “36 students accompanied by 4 mentors”. The visit offered students valuable exposure to the functioning of a newspaper organisation and the various stages involved in newspaper production. Students had the opportunity to understand the importance of journalism, news collection, editing, printing and distribution. The experience helped bridge classroom learning with practical knowledge and encouraged students to develop an interest in media, communication and current affairs.
