An “E-Waste Collection and Awareness Programme” was organised for students of “Grades 6–8 on 5 October 2026”. Sri. V. S. Ethiraj created awareness about the harmful effects of e-waste on land, air, water and human health, along with the importance of proper segregation and disposal.
The students learnt about the “3Rs – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. E-waste collection bins were displayed, and students were encouraged to bring e-waste from home and dispose of it responsibly. Students actively participated and shared their feedback.
The session concluded with a meaningful message to “plant a tree on every birthday” and contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.
