Healthy Snacks, Healthy Minds: Why We Insist on Nutritious Eating at School. At our school, we believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. That’s why we encourage — and gently insist — that all children bring healthy snacks in their tiffin boxes.
Why Healthy Snacks Matter?
Children spend a major part of their day in school, and what they eat during school hours directly affects their:
Energy levels
Concentration
Learning ability
Mood and behaviour
What Counts as a Healthy Snack?
Here are some examples of smart snack choices we recommend:
Fresh fruits (apple, banana, grapes, etc.)
Vegetable sticks with hummus or curd dip
Whole grain sandwiches
Sprouts
Upma, or poha
Roasted nuts or dry fruits
We also encourage hydration — students should bring a bottle of clean drinking water and avoid soft drinks or packaged juices.
